Activities in Tolo and surrounding area
Not content with lying on the leach and having a lazy holiday in Tolo or would like to break up your time by doing something different? There are many things to do in Tolo and in the surrounding areas, something for everybody's taste and abilities.

Below is just an idea of some of the many things to do, by no means complete and if you do want to do an activity that you don't see here then you can always ask us.
Cycling
Take a tour on a bike and see the stunning Greek countryside from a different angle. Great for frequent stops and places not accessible by car.
Horse Riding
Horseback riding is a popular choice for all ages and abilities in the Argolida. An exhilarating choice for experienced or first-timers.
Kite Surfing
Just outside Nafplion there is an organised kite surfing club that has equipment for the experienced surfer and lessons for beginners.
Water Sports
On Tolo Beach offers a great choice of watersports, waterskiing, motor boat rental, scuba diving, banana & ringo rides, windsurfing & sailing.
Cooking
Learn to cook some traditional Greek dishes in a traditional atmosphere with a Greek housewife, and of course, consume what you have learnt to make.
Rock Climbing
There are quite a few areas close by with cleats already in place for the experience climber. Please refer to this site for more details.
Cruises
Cruises leave from the harbour of Tolo almost every day through the Summer months to the islands of Hydra, Spetses & Poros returning the same day.

Wine Tasting
Nemea, just half an hour from Tolo is renowned worldwide for its wines. It is possible to have a tour of most of the vineyards and a wine tasting.
Ouzo Tasting
Karonis Distillery in Nafplion is a local distiller of Ouzo and other liqueurs that offers a guided tour including their museum and tasting.
Hiking
The diverse scenery of the Peloponnese lends itself to hiking well. High mountains, deep ravines and spectacular scenery around every corner.
